The moment you place your feet on the islands-the white sand tickling your toes, the creaminess of a coconut curry enticing your palette, swaying of the palm trees and blue of the Indian ocean-soothing your eyes, the sweltering heat compelling you to float in the water, the cool breeze inviting you to laze on a hammock…so many sensations in a day make you fall in love with Seychelles.

  1. Island Hopping, hop along to all the islands and swim, snorkel or even languidly soak in the sun on a tiny private paradise. Each island offers a different glimpse of their history, culture and landscape. There are plenty of transport options from the main island of Mahe to islands like Cerf island, La Digue and Praslin or visit private islands like Desroches island, Bird island, Denis island or Fregate.

  2. Fishing, diving and snorkelling, cast your fishing lines off the shores of the inner granitic islands surrounding Praslin, La Digue and Mahe. The seas around the islands are teeming with fish and make for a great expedition. With its many stunning coastlines and snorkelling spots, you can witness the wonders of the exotic sea life found here. Turtles, multi-coloured fish and beautiful fan corals and tree corals abound in the waters around the inner islands. The outer islands are less traversed areas so it is adventurous to explore the rich and varied sea life there as well.

  3. Mountains, “The ‘Morne Seychellois” is the highest mountain in Seychelles and is surrounded by rainforest and granite peaks. Hiking through the park and up to the peak of ‘Morne Blanc’ is a great way to spend the day. You may even spot some rare and unusual birds and plants on the way. The view from up there among the mist and clouds is mesmerizing. There are a number of nature trails in Mahe and you can choose one based on your fitness level.

  4. Botanical garden in Victoria, one of the must-see places in Seychelles for people with a love of nature is the Botanical Garden. The key attractions here are- Coco de Mer palm, exotic and endemic birds, Cannonball tree, giant land tortoise, terrapins’ pond, exotic flowers, fruits and spices.

  5. Food in Seychelles, the food served is simply out of the world especially the seafood! Eden Plaza and Marina is the rodeo drive, if you are on the lookout for high-end cafes and eateries.

  6. Rum Distillery, this tour at Takama bay includes visiting the famous distillery located here. With a tour that takes up about half an hour to three-quarters of an hour, you can learn the history of the distillery, the process of making the famous Takamaka rum. In the end, you can taste and purchase the beverage from here.

  • Met on arrival at the airport where our representative will brief you on the entire plan. Transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure today. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (D)

  • Breakfast, pick up for full day Mahe tour to visit are the court buildings, museum, post office, Clock-tower. Walk across the colourful local market where stalls of fresh fish, tropical fruits & vegetables, herbs & spices, are displayed in an abundance of fragrances. followed by a drive across the Sans Soucis mountain pass, with a photo stop at the historical Mission Lodge. Stopover at the crafts village on the way back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. (B, L, D)

  • Early breakfast, pick up from the hotel at 6:30 am for full day tour to Praslin and La Digue. Praslin, the second largest island in Seychelles, lies approximately 1 hour by boat from Mahe. You can visit the Vallee-de-Mai, the only place on earth where the giant Coco-de-Mer nut grows in its natural state - a walk along the tended paths of this primeval forest, listening to the trill of the rare Black Parrot. The tour includes a visit to “The famous Anse Lazio beach”, before the 30-minute crossing to La Digue, during which one has a good chance to spot dolphins. Transfer from the jetty is by pick-up truck to L'Union Estate for a tour of the copra sheds, the giant land tortoises and the recently refurbished colonial plantation house, location of the film “Goodbye Emmanuelle”. The tour of La Digue resumes by 'camion', an open-sided truck with canopy, stopping at Anse Source d’Argent, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world, allowing you ample time to photograph the impressive granite rock formations. This 11- hour tour, which sometimes starts on La Digue, is an attractive opportunity to visit the highlights of both islands in one-day. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel (B, D)
